About Marie Cari
As an immigrant woman, I've faced a multitude of adversity during my life time. From teaching myself the English language to growing up in a low-income household, I've learned hard work, perseverance, and independence. That's something you can't teach. I am currently a Software Engineer at Bank of America. Before this, I attended Year Up, a program that focuses on closing the opportunity divide. My focus at Year Up was Java programming. Prior, I received specialized software engineer training with Per Scholas, another rigorous training program, where my focus was full stack development (MERN). I am hungry learner, as you can see by my wide range of skills and certifications. I'm an adaptable, detail-oriented individual that excels in both collaborative and independent environments. My attention to detail, strong communication and excellent leadership skills make me an asset to any team I work on.
