Current Role at Barcelona Supercomputing Center
Rose Gregorio currently serves as the Project Dissemination Coordinator in the Computer Applications in Science and Engineering Department at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. She has held this position since 2021 and is responsible for leading dissemination work packages for various European projects. Her role includes establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for project dissemination, creating content for project websites, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
Previous Experience at Barcelona Supercomputing Center
Prior to her current role, Rose Gregorio worked at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center as a Dissemination Officer in two different departments. From 2019 to 2020, she was part of the Research Support, Transfer and Dissemination Department for nine months. Following that, she served in the Computer Applications in Science and Engineering Department from 2020 to 2021 for ten months. In these roles, she contributed to the development of project proposals and actively participated in dissemination activities for projects under H2020 and Interreg POCTEFA.
Experience at KAUST
Rose Gregorio worked as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the Computational Bioscience Research Center at KAUST from 2016 to 2018. During her two years in Saudi Arabia, she focused on enhancing the center's visibility and communication strategies, contributing to the overall outreach and engagement of the research community.
Educational Background
Rose Gregorio completed her Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts at Ateneo de Manila University from 2001 to 2005. She further pursued her education at the London School of Journalism, where she studied Subediting and Design, earning a Diploma from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, she has been studying Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at the American TESOL Institute since 2009.
Teaching Experience
Before her roles in project dissemination and communications, Rose Gregorio worked as a Phonics Teacher at Columbia English Taiwan from 2009 to 2014. Over five years, she developed her skills in teaching English, which contributed to her communication expertise in her subsequent positions.
