An accomplished Senior Managing Director, COO and Head of Global Operations, with extensive experience of leading international teams in large, complex matrix organisations, overseeing the running of multiple back office retail and private banking operations. An influential and results-driven leader with a proven track record in financial planning, strategy development, change management and organisational change. Originally began working for Glaxosmithkline in the role of Sourcing Group Manager, Commercial Procurement, Corporate HR in 2005, being promoted to Director, UK Benefits, Corporate HR in 2007, directing the development of competitive corporate wide pension and benefit programmes. Moving to HSBC as Head of UK Benefits in 2010, overseeing the implementation of Flex Benefits, successfully increasing benefits enrolment from 52% to 72%. Moving into HSBC Operations in 2012 into the role of Global Head of Supplied Services (based from London & HK) and subsequently Global Head of Operational Services in 2017, an expanded Supplied Services role based from Bangalore. In 2019 rose to oversee all Wealth & Personal Banking Operations with a cost base in excess of $1bn and leading a global team of 10,000+ colleagues across Global Service Centres and teams in 31 countries. Overall responsibility for running a number of services encompassing card operations, mortgage operations, loan operations, account opening/closing and servicing, international accounts, private bank operations, wealth operations, cash, print and logistics with a focus on building new digital journeys and migrating customers accordingly. A consummate professional with an established reputation for integrity and trust, and a flair for encouraging team cohesion and motivating staff to deliver tangible results. Excellent stakeholder management skills with a flair for negotiating favourable agreements with suppliers and contractors to ensure best value.
