GIS Coordinator at Bass Coast Shire. Recently my team have implemented Intramaps as Council's corporate Intranet GIS, and in the next 12 months we will be further developing the integration with other Technology One products as they come on line. We have also implemented Mapbuilder as our Web Mapping tool on Council's web page.Our GIS is Esri ArcGIS, with ArcSDE interfacing our Sql Geodatabase . My Primary role is to provide GIS Services to the organisation in the form of ArcPortal as the client user interface and to provide a secure multi-user editing environment for PowerUsers using ArcGIS Desktop.Most recently we have developed ANZLIC Metadata tools to report on all datasets within the Sql Geodatabase to extract XML metadata from internal datasets and also to extract all HTML from externally provided datasets. The Metadata tool provides a comprehensive Data Catalogue for all users. The tool will also be developed to provide archiving and change detection.
