I'm an optical scientist and engineer with a broad base of experience (>10 years in a variety of roles, from algorithms and software to hardware design and development) passionate about creating and leveraging sophisticated optical sensing systems and instruments to help answer and address compelling scientific questions and needs. I have researched and worked extensively in the applied areas of Earth and space science and remote sensing (in general terms), and am passionate about these particular fields. My broad experience base allows me to contribute substantially and effectively in nearly all areas of systems design and development, and I enjoy the diversity of work that this affords. I'm energized by the dedicated collaborative environments typical of large and ambitious programs and efforts, and enjoy seeing great work produce great results for customers and the scientific community.
