Involvement at The Buckeye Space Launch Initiative
Violet Days’ tenure at The Buckeye Space Launch Initiative includes roles as Fluids System Lead from 2019 to 2020 and Propulsion Lead from 2018 to 2019. In these positions, located in Columbus, Ohio, she led teams in designing and managing fluid and propulsion systems for various space launch projects. Her contributions were vital in advancing the initiative's objectives in academic and professional space launch endeavors.

Violet Days earned her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace Engineering from The Ohio State University, where she studied from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, she attended The School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) from 2008 to 2016, where she completed her High School education. Her educational pathway provided a solid foundation in engineering principles and creative problem-solving, which she applies in her career in aerospace engineering.
Early Professional Experiences
In her early career, Violet Days accumulated diverse experiences including serving as an Administrative Office Assistant at The Ohio State University’s College of Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from 2016 to 2018. She also undertook an internship at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center as an Undergraduate Intern in 2016, where she gained invaluable early exposure to technical environments.
