About Martha H.
I’ve spent the last several years in content creation, nonprofit marketing and volunteer coordination. I have executed several fundraising events and marketing projects from the initial big picture strategy to final touches, working with stakeholders at every level. I'm highly organized, and I'm never afraid to question outdated systems. I'm an intermediate-high Spanish speaker/listener, and I'm working toward fluency this year. Through my time working with underserved populations and in non-profit settings, I feel I have learned a good deal about fostering people’s desires to feel connected to something larger than themselves. I also understand the need for diverse perspectives, and it is my firm belief that every person has a valuable role to play in building a more equitable society. In my personal time, you'll find me hiking and trail running, reading, and hanging out with my cats (Walter and Grendel). I also love to cook!
