About Jeff Ho

My strengths include excellent organizational skills and strong writing ability. As a trust administrator with First Interstate, Wells Fargo and BNY Mellon, I maintained client relationships with treasurers and CFO's from various institutions such as public pension funds, non-profit endowments and large institutional investors. The profession required a strong and well-rounded understanding of the securities markets, investment performance and benchmarks, back-office procedures such as corporate actions and calculation of principal and interest on mortgage-backed securities as well as strong people management skills. I started my financial services career as a credit officer where I was trained to understand and evaluate the risks of investing in equities and options. This led to passing the tests for FINRA Series 7, 4 and 24 licenses. My biggest accomplishment in this position was helping develop a PC-based system for calculating clearing and execution fees for a nationwide network of correspondent broker-dealers. As a trust administrator, I was responsible for up to 150 client relationships that generated fee revenue. My accomplishments in this position include setting up a business recovery plan for the business unit and managing a project to develop an Excel-based general ledger interface for a $16 billion pension fund. Other accomplishments include being selected to work on an international corporate actions team in Europe and working on systems migration for trust accounting and the Federal Reserve (FedAdvantage). I work well independently as well as on a team. I have managed teams of 4 to 12 individuals with diverse backgrounds and different levels of experience in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment where missing a deadline could cost $1 million a day. The work required great focus, attention to detail and the temperament to handle deadline pressure.
