His responsibilities include overseeing finance controlling for 34 plants across seven countries, which includes France, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. Legay also acts as the Business Risk Officer for the Automotive & General Industry division within the region.

Prior to his current role, Arnaud Legay accumulated extensive experience in finance across various organizations. He worked at PwC France as a Senior Financial Auditor from 1988 to 1992. Following this, he served as a Financial Controller at Lennox International from 1996 to 2005. He then took on the role of CFO at Becker Industrie from 2005 to 2009. His early career included a position as a Business Analyst at GEC ALSTHOM T&D from 1992 to 1996.
Educational Background and Qualifications
Arnaud Legay has a strong educational foundation in finance and accounting. He studied at ESSEC Business School, where he earned the Diplôme de l'ESSEC from 1983 to 1986. He also completed the Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures Comptables et Financières (DESCF) in 1991. In 2013, he further enhanced his expertise by studying Lean - Six Sigma at Euro Symbiose for 11 months.
Key Achievements in Financial Management
In his role at Bodycote, Arnaud Legay has managed industrial plants and fixed assets valued at €250 million, ensuring compliance with IFRS36 standards. He successfully implemented the Dynamics AX ERP system for the finance department, which streamlined financial operations. Additionally, he reorganized the finance department, which consists of 25 people, improving the closing process and significantly reducing closing time to meet Group requirements.
