Current Role at Bodycote
Ondřej Petráš serves as the Global Head of Talent Acquisition at Bodycote since 2022. In this role, he is responsible for leading talent acquisition strategies and initiatives across the organization. He focuses on the digitalization and upskilling of talent acquisition systems, ensuring that Bodycote's recruitment processes are efficient and effective. Additionally, he has implemented a recruitment Center of Excellence (COE) that emphasizes improvements in applicant tracking systems (ATS), processes, and knowledge bases.
Previous Experience at Honeywell
Prior to his current position, Ondřej Petráš held several roles at Honeywell. He served as the EMEA Talent Operations Leader from 2020 to 2022, overseeing talent operations in Prague and Bracknell, England. Before that, he was the Talent Acquisition Manager for Central and Eastern Europe and EMEA HCE TA leader from 2018 to 2020. He also worked as a Staffing Manager and Staffing Specialist at Honeywell in 2017, gaining extensive experience in recruitment and staffing strategies.
Experience at Randstad
Ondřej Petráš began his career in recruitment at Randstad, where he worked as a Hiring Specialist for five months in 2016 in Brno. He later served as a Talent Sourcing Consultant from 2016 to 2017. His roles at Randstad provided him with foundational experience in sourcing and hiring talent, which he later applied in his positions at Honeywell and Bodycote.
Education and Academic Background
Ondřej Petráš studied at Masaryk University in Brno, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociální pedagogika a poradenství from 2010 to 2014. He continued his education at the same institution, obtaining a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, he completed another Master's degree in Andragogy from 2014 to 2017, further enhancing his expertise in education and training within the workforce.
