Dr. Dubey has received notable recognition in his field, including the 2015 Clayton Griffin Best Paper Award, being the only candidate in Asia in the area of PSR engineering. He was also the first and only candidate in India to receive the Prime Minister Fellows Award in EPS engineering, which included significant financial support. Additionally, he received the 2017 POSOCO Award for Best Ph.D. Thesis in Power Grid India.

Dr. Dubey has held various academic and industry positions throughout his career. He worked as an Assistant Professor at Manipal Institute of Technology for 11 months in 2012-2013. He served as a Domain Lead at ABB from 2016 to 2017 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Delft University of Technology from 2017 to 2018. He also acted as a Prime Minister Fellow at IIT Delhi from 2013 to 2016, contributing to research and mentoring in electrical engineering.
