Srihari Dhati holds multiple degrees in engineering and management. He completed a Post Diploma in Mold Design from the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET) and a Diploma in Production Management from the All India Institute of Management Studies. He earned an MS in Manufacturing Management and a BS in Engineering Technology from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Before joining Bosch, Srihari Dhati worked at Emerson as a Technical Lead from 2003 to 2010, where he operated in both Pune, India, and Racine, Wisconsin, USA. His early career included a position as an Assistant Engineer at Satyam Computer Services Ltd from 2001 to 2003 in Secunderābād, Telangana, India. His diverse background in engineering roles has equipped him with a strong foundation in product design and development.
Achievements
Srihari Dhati has received several accolades for his contributions to engineering and project management. He was awarded the One RBEI PM award for best project management of the iBooster Product Engineering in 2021. He also received a Gold Award for successful global project execution on data migration and data engineering in 2020 at the RBEI Region India level. His work has led to significant productivity improvements, including achieving LEAN productivity targets in 2021-22 through automation and process optimization.
Innovations and Contributions
Srihari Dhati holds a patent for a Batch Feed Magnetic Switch Mechanism in the US, China, and India. He played a key role in the mechanical development of the HVAC Recovery unit and Refrigerant Leak Detector, which were productionized in Bosch's Bengaluru and Nanjing plants. Additionally, he was involved in developing infotainment systems for various commercial vehicle projects, including those for Mercedes Benz’s Atego and TATA World Truck, as well as contributing to the first-ever aviation engine control unit through multi-site simultaneous engineering project management.
