Vijaykumar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kongu Engineering College, Bharathiar University, which he completed from 1987 to 1991. He further advanced his education by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Engineering Design from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, from 1991 to 1993. His academic background provides a solid foundation for his expertise in engineering and technology.
Achievements in Product Development
Vijaykumar has contributed significantly to product development in his career. He developed a mobile application called iNVH for noise and vibration measurement, which has achieved over 100,000 downloads on the Google Play Store. He has played a key role in the development of hybrid motors, e-axles, batteries, connectors, and wiring harnesses, demonstrating his capability in advancing automotive technologies.

As part of the Bosch DNA program, Vijaykumar actively mentors start-ups, sharing his knowledge and experience to foster innovation. He is also responsible for reskilling and upskilling his team in emerging technologies such as Digital Twin, Digital Manufacturing, AI/ML, IoT, Electric Vehicles, and Fuel Cells.
