She also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Biotechnology from the same institution, studying from 2007 to 2011. Additional certifications include Internal Quality Auditor from Boston Scientific, ISO 13485 Quality Auditor from INTECO, and Six Sigma Black Belt from Tecnológico de Costa Rica. She also achieved certification in Quality Control at Medical Device Industry from the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Telecommunications.
Professional Training in Quality Assurance
In her journey to enhance her expertise, Maria has completed several pertinent training programs. She studied Quality Assurance at the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and became a Certified Quality Engineer. Her training also includes Internal Auditor for ISO/IEC 17025 from Costa Rican Accreditation Entity (ECA). Additionally, she has been recognized as a Risk Management Subject Matter Expert by Boston Scientific.
