About Nadir Namazov
Nadir Namazov is a Petroleum Engineering Intern currently working at BP in Baku, Azerbaijan. He has previous experience with BP and SOCAR, and holds a Master of Science in Reservoir Evaluation and Management from Baku Higher Oil School.
Work at BP
Nadir Namazov has held multiple positions at BP, starting with a role as an Exploration Geoscientist Intern in 2019, where he worked for two months in Baku. He participated in the BP Summer Field Geology Course in 2018 for one month in Azerbaijan. Currently, he is employed as a Petroleum Engineering Intern, a position he has held since 2021 for three years, also based in Baku.
Experience at SOCAR
Nadir Namazov has gained significant experience at the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). He completed several summer internships, including a one-month internship in 2017 at the 28 May Oil and Gas Production Division, and another one-month internship in 2018 at the 'Oil Rocks' Oil and Gas Production Division. Additionally, he participated in a summer internship in 2019.
Education and Expertise
Nadir Namazov studied at Baku Higher Oil School, where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Petroleum Engineering from 2015 to 2020. He furthered his education by pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Reservoir Evaluation and Management from 2020 to 2022. He also participated in the Young Talents Programme organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers from 2019 to 2021.

In 2019, Nadir Namazov participated in a summer camp organized by Schlumberger for one month in Baku, Azerbaijan. This experience contributed to his professional development in the petroleum engineering field.
