She initially joined the company as a Research Scientist & Senior Research Investigator, Chemical Development, a role she held from 2004 to 2014.

Early Career and Education

Brenda began her career as a Process Engineer in the Merck Manufacturing Division at Merck, where she worked from 2000 to 2004. She later pursued higher education at Rutgers University, earning a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from 2005 to 2010. Earlier, she completed her B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 2000.
