Valentina Schiavoni serves as the Head of the UK & Ireland Supply Chain Team at Brown-Forman, a position she has held since 2020. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the supply chain operations, which include Customer Service, Planning & Logistics, and Purchasing teams. Schiavoni has successfully built the supply chain function from the ground up following the launch of Brown-Forman's own distribution in the UK. She manages a team of 14 individuals, both directly and indirectly, ensuring efficient supply chain processes.
Professional Experience
Prior to her current role, Valentina Schiavoni held several key positions in the supply chain and operations sectors. She worked at Elvie as Head of Operations from 2017 to 2019, where she focused on operational efficiency. Before that, she was a Demand Planning Manager at Pernod Ricard from 2014 to 2017, and a Demand Planner at both Pernod Ricard and PepsiCo. Schiavoni also gained experience as a Supply Chain Coordinator and Business Analyst at Lavazza Coffee UK.
Education and Qualifications
Valentina Schiavoni has a strong educational background in management engineering. She studied at Università della Calabria, where she achieved a Master’s degree with a final mark of 110/110 cum laude. She also completed a Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering at the same institution. Additionally, she earned an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs, and has a certification in Project Management from the Italian Institute of Project Management ISIPM. Schiavoni furthered her knowledge in wines and spirits by obtaining a Level 2 Award from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.

Valentina Schiavoni completed her secondary education at Scientifico Statale “Giovanni Losardo,” where she achieved the Maturità scientific with a final mark of 100/100 in 2002. She also participated in an Erasmus program at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, focusing on Management Engineering in 2008. This diverse educational background laid the foundation for her successful career in supply chain management.
