Prior to her current position, she held various roles at Catalyst, including Senior Librarian, Director (Research Librarian, Department Manager), and Senior Director of the Information Center and CatalystX. Her extensive tenure at Catalyst spans over 14 years, during which she has contributed significantly to the development of knowledge products and tools related to DEI.

Emily Troiano holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Florida and a Master's degree in Library and Information Studies (MLIS) from the University of Rhode Island.
