Ahmed Bashiru earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biochemistry from the University of Benin, completing his studies from 2004 to 2009. His educational background has provided him with a solid foundation in scientific principles, which he applies in his work in public health. He has developed extensive knowledge in electronic data processing and management tools, including SPSS, ODK, Kobo Collect, and DHIS.
Knowledge of Public Health and Reporting Systems
Ahmed possesses a strong understanding of PEPFAR and Global Fund's reporting timelines, as well as PEPFAR’s New Generation of Indicators (NGIs). His experience includes supporting the design and implementation of comprehensive HIV/AIDS care and treatment programs funded by the US government. His broad working knowledge of public health practice enables him to develop cost-effective strategies and approaches in program implementation.
