Work at Catholic Relief Services
Flavia Nyadoi currently serves as a Project Officer and Quality Improvement Lead for the SOCY project at Catholic Relief Services. She has held this position since 2018 in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. In her role, she focuses on enhancing the well-being of vulnerable children and youth by strengthening family, community, and societal structures. Previous Experience at Mifumi
Flavia Nyadoi worked at Mifumi Health Services as a Programs Manager from 2017 to 2018 for one year in Tororo, Uganda. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing health programs aimed at improving the health and well-being of the community. Additionally, she briefly served as a Program Manager at Mifumi for one month in 2015, also in Tororo, Uganda.
Consultancy at International Labour Organization
Flavia Nyadoi was a consultant for the Wedee Project at the International Labour Organization from 2013 to 2015 for two years in Switzerland. Her consultancy focused on improving data management practices at the community and civil society organization levels. She also completed a six-month internship at the International Labour Organization in 2013, where she gained valuable experience in international labor issues.
Education and Qualifications
Flavia Nyadoi holds a Bachelor's degree from Uganda Christian University, which she completed from 2009 to 2011. She furthered her education at the Uganda Management Institute, studying there from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, she holds a Certificate in Management in Health from the World Bank eInstitute, which complements her expertise in health program management.
Focus on Economic Empowerment
In her current role with the SOCY project, Flavia Nyadoi contributes to the economic empowerment of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), youth, and their caregivers. Her efforts are directed toward enhancing their well-being through various initiatives that strengthen family and community support systems.
