She has held this position since 2016, working from the Greater Denver Area.
Previous Experience at Catholic Relief Services
Kristina Brayman has held multiple positions at Catholic Relief Services prior to her current role. She worked as the Education and Nutrition Program Director in Sahel/Barnako, Mali, for one year from 2012 to 2013. Before that, she served as the Health and Nutrition Food Program Manager in West Darfur, Sudan, for one year from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, she was the Head of Operations in Pakistan from 2013 to 2016, where she worked for three years.
International Development Experience
Before joining Catholic Relief Services, Kristina Brayman worked as the Assistant Country Director at the International Partnership for Human Development in Brazzaville, Congo, from 2008 to 2010. She also served as an HIV/AIDS Program Coordinator Volunteer with the United States Peace Corps in Guyana from 2005 to 2007. Her diverse international experience contributes to her expertise in program management and humanitarian response.
Educational Background
Kristina Brayman holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Nutrition Sciences and Nutrition in the Developing World from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biomedical Science and Chemistry from Missouri State University. Her educational background supports her work in health and nutrition programs.
Leadership in Emergency Response
In her current role, Kristina Brayman oversees emergency response activities, coordinating logistics, resources, and infrastructure to ensure effective systems are in place before and during emergencies. She serves as the regional point person for Supply Chain Management, ensuring adherence to policies and the adoption of best practices in various areas, including Procurement and Inventory Management.
