Michael Chiromo Moyo currently serves as the Head of Operations at Catholic Relief Services, a position he has held since 2020 in Maseru, Lesotho. He is part of the Senior Management Team and collaborates closely with the Country Representative to achieve strategic objectives and fulfill the agency's mission. Previously, he worked as the Chief of Party for the USAID Mawa WASH Project from 2019 to 2020 and as Deputy Chief of Party for the USAID funded Mawa Project from 2014 to 2019, both based in Chipata, Eastern Zambia. His role includes overseeing project support services across multiple countries, including Lesotho, Mozambique, and South Africa.
Education and Expertise
Michael Chiromo Moyo has a strong educational background in management and finance. He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University in 2019. He also holds a PMD Pro1 Certification in Project Management from APMG International/Inside NGO, achieved in 2016. Earlier, he studied Accounting and Finance at the National Institute of Public Administration, obtaining a National Accounting Technician qualification from ZICA between 1999 and 2002.
