About Endre K. Sebesteny
Being kicked out into pouring rain from a venue over a lousy concert performance with my up-and-coming teen rock band taught me a lesson for life about the importance of bringing my A game. Fortunately, it also gently pushed me to follow my other passion: transforming the world through technology. In my first job at a startup the deputy CEO selected me as his chief of staff, and through his mentorship I got drawn to solving business problems. I went into management consulting to follow this new passion, where I served leading financial services clients. However, given my engineering background, every time there was a screw, electron or bit involved in a project, I was invited to join. This dual platform allowed me to work on some of the most consequential, industry transforming digitization opportunities across the world. Today I lead cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical technology solutions for the insurance economy. In my current role I connect car manufacturers and other mobility services providers with over 30 thousand auto insurance ecosystem companies through AI, data, workflow, and network management products, doubling the business for the third year in a row. I combine my management consulting background with a data-driven, action-oriented operating approach to define and solve problems and leverage my cross-cultural leadership experience from working in 15+ countries to build and manage high-performing teams and deliver results. Working with several senior management teams in the financial services industry across the globe and solving some of their most critical business problems provide me with a great foundation to deliver high-impact solutions, and help the industry achieve step-change in performance. In order to give back to the community, I joined the board of the Hungarian American Chamber of Commerce in Chicago, where I leverage my business experience and global network to advance economic, academic, and cultural relations, trade and investments between Hungary and the United States.
