Raul Alberto Escobar is currently working as the Safety Supervisor for the expats office at Chevron Argentina, located in Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. He reports directly to both the Local Security Advisor and the Latin America Security Advisor. His responsibilities include executing private protection logistics plans for corporate VIP visits, collaborating with Argentine security forces, and supervising the monitoring center for expatriate residences and the Chevron Argentina building.
Previous Experience at Chevron and G4S
Raul worked at Chevron Argentina as the Coordinador de Servicios a Expatriados from 2008 to 2014, a role he held for six years in Gran Buenos Aires. Before that, he was employed by G4S as the Operador Centro de Coordinación Clientes V.i.P from 2005 to 2008, working for three years in Buenos Aires. In both roles, he gained extensive experience in security coordination and expatriate services.
Education and Training
Raul has a diverse educational background with multiple degrees. He studied Arte/Estudios artísticos at Universidad Nacional de las Artes, achieving Curaduría de Arte from 2017 to 2021. He also earned a degree in Artes Multimediales from the same university from 2015 to 2017. Raul holds a Fotografo degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires, and additionally, he achieved Psicolgia Aeronáutica in 2007 from INMAE Fuerza Aérea Argentina after studying CRM Aeronautica. Lastly, he holds a CABIN CREW certificate in Commercial Aviation from INAC CIATA, completed in 2006.
Role Responsibilities and Duties
Raul's duties at Chevron include training new personnel, managing the agenda and budgets for the installation of security systems in expatriate residences, and preparing general reports for semi-annual audits. He designs and maintains office systems, coordinates travel for expatriate employees, and provides general assistance to management. Raul also conducts security investigations and reports, organizes meeting agendas, supervises compliance with installation services, and enforces evacuation plan drills mandated by the Government of Buenos Aires.
