Reza Rabbi is currently employed as a Process Safety Engineer at Chevron in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before joining Chevron, Reza Rabbi worked at KAFCO, where he held various positions. Starting as a Graduate Trainee Engineer in 2008 in Chittagong, he transitioned to the role of Maintenance Engineer-Mechanical, a position he held for eight years until 2016. In these roles, Reza gained extensive experience in mechanical engineering and maintenance operations.
Educational Background
Reza Rabbi holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, completed between 2016 and 2018. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology, where he studied from 2003 to 2007.
Chevron Projects and Initiatives
At Chevron, Reza has led significant projects including the deployment of D2, PSI validation, Anomaly IT, and Sharepoint modification. He implemented a PSI validation and verification program that improved information quality and organizational capability, engaging multiple departments. He also prepares and presents process updates to the Operational Excellence Leadership Team (OELT).
Training and Collaboration
Reza provides training on PSI processes to personnel across all four Chevron Bangladesh facilities. He engages and monitors third-party company Foster Wheeler for PSI data validation and works closely with IT to establish Facility Engineering Information Management (FEIM), enhancing data management and compliance capabilities.
