His expertise includes extensive experience with Networker versions 7.3 to 8.0.1 for backup and restore operations.
Experience with Backup and Restore Operations
Sofyan manages both onsite and offsite tape storage, including inventory and requests. His experience includes maintaining backup servers using VTL & SIR on Linux and Legato Networker on Unix & Linux. He utilizes IBM3584 and IBM3573 Libraries with LTO3 & LTO5 drives for data storage and is responsible for updating patches on all backup servers including VTL, SIR, and Legato Networker.
Data Center Maintenance and SOP Management
In his role, Sofyan conducts regular maintenance activities such as quarterly visits and appraisals of offsite tape storage. He prepares audit data and performs weekly checks on various data center equipment like servers, UPS, AC, FM200, and CCTV. Additionally, he creates and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the data center.
Support for Server and Mobile Devices
Sofyan supports server owners in building, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading devices. He also provides technical support for Apple and Blackberry devices, ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of these devices in his workplace.
