I call this “porpoising,” (🐬) and it’s easy to get caught in this cycle. This constant swing between feast and famine is exhausting and, frankly, unsustainable. You also may think, “I’m not really a saleperson, I'm a practitioner,” so you don’t focus on sales as consistently as you should. Imagine having a steady flow of sales, where your pipeline doesn’t dry up, and you feel like selling is a great part of your day, not a constant dread on your to-do list. ✅ As someone who transitioned from being a consulting practitioner to a sales lead for consultancies and agencies, I understand this challenge deeply.
