He also served as the Interim Head of Global Engineering for ten months in 2015. Roddy played a significant role in the strategic growth of Chobani's Controls/Automation Engineering functions and oversaw the development of two new industrial complexes.

Hugh Roddy studied at Trinity College Dublin, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc Eng.) with a focus on Controls, Power, and Electronics from 1992 to 1998. He also attended DIT Kevin St. in Ireland, achieving a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) during the same period. His educational background provides a strong foundation for his expertise in engineering and project management within the food manufacturing sector.

Before joining Chobani, Hugh Roddy worked at FCX Performance as General Manager of FCX Process Solutions from 2005 to 2011. He also gained experience as an Automation Engineer at GEA Process Technologies Ireland Ltd. from 1998 to 2001. His diverse background in engineering and management has contributed to his capabilities in overseeing large-scale projects and initiatives in the food industry.
Achievements
During his tenure at Chobani, Hugh Roddy led the expansion of the Chobani Idaho plant, which is recognized as the world's largest yogurt plant. He directed the design and construction of a 72,000 square foot office building and R&D Centre in 2019. Additionally, he oversaw the launch of Chobani's new Non-Dairy and Dairy Creamer platforms, highlighting his ability to lead innovative product initiatives. Roddy was also instrumental in the design and development of a new facility in Australia, enhancing Chobani's global footprint.
