She collaborates with People Enablement and People Analytics functions to implement global people initiatives.
Previous Experience in Human Resources
Maggie Lay has extensive experience in human resources and talent acquisition. She worked at WeGift as a People Operations Manager from 2019 to 2021 and as a People Business Partner for six months in 2022. Prior to that, she held roles at Dext as an HR Advisor and Talent Acquisition Partner. Her earlier positions include Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Nested.com and HR Coordinator at Goodlord. These roles have contributed to her expertise in employee relations and talent management.
Educational Background
Maggie Lay studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a minor in History from 2012 to 2016. She also completed CIPD Qualifications, achieving Level 5 from 2019 to 2020. Her foundational education includes attending Gumley House Convent School, where she completed her high school education from 2005 to 2012.
Leadership and Organizational Roles
During her time at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Maggie Lay served as the Panhellenic President for the UCSB Chapter from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, she gained operational experience as an Operations and Marketing Intern at Hayes Commercial Group from 2014 to 2016. These roles have enhanced her leadership skills and understanding of organizational dynamics.
