Sue Villano holds the position of Sr. Manager, Application Services, Financial Crime Technology (FCT), (EAML) at CIBC. She has been in this role since 2019, based in the Toronto, Canada area. In this position, Sue oversees the maintenance and enhancement of applications that support CIBC’s Anti-Money Laundering initiative. Her responsibilities also include managing the Base Essential Support Team (BEST) and the Business-As-Usual team (BAU).

She also worked at HSBC Securities from 2000 to 2002 as a Registered Plans Administrator and at CT Securities from 1998 to 1999 as a Transfers Administrator. Additionally, Sue held the position of Administrator at Canada Trust from 1997 to 1999. Through these roles, she has garnered over 15 years of experience in customer service, specifically in registered products and estate reporting for registered plans.
