About Melissa Gutierrez Sullivan

Melissa Gutierrez-Sullivan is Vice President of Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Occupier Services Sustainability and Wellness Practice, leading the Southern California region while also working with projects nationally. In addition to certification management for LEED, WELL, and Fitwel programs, Melissa has also collaborated on and managed various sustainability related programs including Corporate Sustainability Reports, PACE Financing, and Revolving Loan Funds. Certification project achievements include managing some of the first certified WELL projects in Los Angeles and across the country, including such program types as Retail, Schools, Industrial and a WELL Platinum (attempting) school. At Cushman & Wakefield Melissa works with clients on their sustainability and wellness strategic planning, reporting, and management of certification projects across the country, from Silicon Valley to New York. In 2012 Melissa co-founded the Women in Green Networking group – a quarterly networking group in Los Angeles in which female leaders from across the country speak to the local Los Angeles sustainability community. Melissa’s own speaking engagements include: WELL Exam Prep Classes, LEED Project Management Classes, and events such as USGBC’s Greenbuild and USGBC-LA’s Municipal Green Building Conference and Expo.
