Joanna Jablonski has been employed at CircleCI as a Staff Education Engineer since 2021. In her role, she has collaborated with UX and Design teams to create wireframes for the new documentation site. She has conducted research on developer and authoring tools to improve the documentation site. Joanna independently planned the replatforming of the CircleCI documentation site and managed to balance priorities between the Engineering and Marketing teams during this project.
Previous Experience
Prior to her current position at CircleCI, Joanna Jablonski had a diverse career. She worked as a Language Professional while self-employed from 2007 to 2021 in the Vancouver, Canada Area. Joanna served as Executive Editor at Real Python from 2018 to 2021. Additionally, she worked briefly as a Python Journalist for the Python Software Foundation in 2021. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Deloitte Canada and Public Services and Procurement Canada, gaining experience in word processing and translation.
Education and Expertise
Joanna Jablonski holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French-English Translation from the University of Ottawa. She also completed her secondary education at Lycée Claudel d'Ottawa, where she achieved the Baccalauréat en Sciences. Her educational background supports her expertise in language and documentation, which she applies in her current role at CircleCI.
