Austin Rynders serves as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations. In his role, he leads clinical operations teams with a strategic focus on investigational pain modeling, abuse potential, and degenerative disorders. Rynders specializes in the development of unique early proof-of-concept studies across Phase I-III clinical trials. He has been instrumental in operational reorganization and the expansion of clinical facilities. His leadership includes the development of a specialized 136 bed Phase 1 facility and overseeing over 200 clinical trials before joining Clene.
