Xia Hua serves as the Director of Engineering at Clumio, a position held since 2022. She leads a cross-geo team focused on developing Clumio's multi-cloud Software as a Service (SAAS) enterprise protection technology. Additionally, she manages infrastructure scaling efforts to improve the scalability and extensibility of Clumio's public cloud data protection platform.

Xia Hua holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Applied Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she studied from 2006 to 2010. She also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from The University of Hong Kong, studying from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, she studied Computer Science at Tsinghua University for one year from 2002 to 2003.
