Mike Villarreal is currently serving as the Senior Manager of Data Center Operations at CoreSite in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. In his role, he oversees day-to-day operations across two major data center sites, covering 630,000 sq. ft. and supporting 48-megawatt facilities. Since taking on this role, Mike has managed a team of more than 32 personnel, which includes shift managers in facilities, telecommunications, and security, while also handling significant budgets and revenue generation activities.

He served as a Tournament Director at OB Sports Golf Management (Monarch Beach Golf Links) from 2011 to 2014 in Dana Point, CA. He managed the largest site and highest revenue per square foot in the CoreSite portfolio, with $150M in annual revenue generated from customer orders and infrastructure enhancements. He implemented an energy savings program at the LA2 data center, achieving nearly $1M in annual savings across an 18-site portfolio in 2018. Additionally, he has driven improvements in HVAC efficiency and power utilization, while leading his team to achieve over 95% in all measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) since 2018.
