Christy Shannon has a robust background with Safe Nest, Nevada’s largest nonprofit agency providing domestic and sexual violence services. She began her journey with Safe Nest in 2011 as a volunteer victim advocate in the court and shelter programs. By 2015, she became part of the leadership team, eventually serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. During her tenure, she supported Safe Nest's extensive program, operational, and funding growth.
