Previous Experience
Prior to her current role, Gwenn Lainé accumulated significant experience in various positions. She worked for the French Navy as a Naval Officer from 2005 to 2016, gaining 11 years of experience in global operations. Following her tenure in the Navy, she served as the UK Country Manager and Senior Programme Manager at ARK Group DMCC from 2016 to 2022. Additionally, she worked as a Deployable Civilian Expert for the UK Government's Stabilisation Unit from 2016 to 2018.
Education and Expertise
Gwenn Lainé has a diverse educational background. She studied at the French Naval Academy, focusing on Naval operations for nine months in 2005-2006. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages (English & Spanish) from Nantes Université and is pursuing a Master of Engineering (MEng) at The Open University, expected to complete in 2029. Additionally, she studied Politics and obtained a Master of International Policy Studies from La Trobe University. Her expertise includes a comprehensive understanding of conflict and fragile environments at both strategic and operational levels.
