Before her current position, Laura Lewis held various roles in marketing and communications. She worked at Global Prairie Marketing as an Account Manager from 2009 to 2011, and at Women Leaders in College Sports as Director of Marketing, Brand & Digital Strategy from 2011 to 2015. She also served as the Director of Marketing and Communications at CREW Network from 2015 to 2016. Her experience includes managing relationships with executive boards, university leaders, influencers, and media.

Laura Lewis began her career in communications with roles such as Sports Information Assistant at the University of Houston from 2002 to 2003 and as a Disney College Program Participant at Walt Disney World in 2000. She also gained experience as a Food and Nutrition/Brand Marketing Intern at Ketchum Public Relations in 2001 and as State Director of Communications & Marketing at March of Dimes from 2007 to 2009.
