Melanie Perry holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from West Virginia University, where she studied Advertising from 2010 to 2013. She has also completed a Communications program at the University of Charleston. In addition, she has specialized in UX Design, having completed a UX/UI Design Bootcamp at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019. Furthermore, she achieved a Front End Web Development certification from General Assembly in 2016.

Melanie Perry began her career with an internship at the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra as a Sales and Marketing Intern in 2012. This experience provided her with foundational skills in marketing and sales. She also worked as a Customer Service Representative at SPS from 2013 to 2014, which contributed to her understanding of customer relations and service.
