Most things worth having in life are outside our comfort zone, on the other side of fear. These words have inspired me to grow into a leader, an influencer and a peer who is not afraid to go after difficult things and to embark on journeys that will take me outside of my comfort zone. This is as true in my personal life as it is in my professional life. I strongly believe that leadership is about learning every day and growing every day. No learning, no leading. I am a passionate, motivated and committed individual who leads by example. At AWS, I am Product Management Leader for Amazon Elastic File System, a simple, serverless, and set-and-forget elastic file system for AWS compute services. At Veritas, I lead a team of 20+ Product Managers for NetBackup, a $1B product with the largest market share, on a mission to simplify secondary data management. A strong Product Manager ultimately becomes the heart of the product and connects everything together. I connect with everyone from executives, technologists, customers to colleagues in cross-functional groups. I enjoy delivering keynotes and addressing a large audience. I am very technically savvy but I thrive to maintain a strategic outlook. I am respectful of others and trusted as a dependable partner. I have a gift with the customers. I bring passion, great communication skills combined with deep technical knowledge and appreciation of the marketplace for the product that I am managing. I handle stressful situations with calm and patience to creatively resolve issues. I am the proud father of a daughter who has enabled me to learn amazing things in life. I love to travel for work and leisure. This enables me to gain a global perspective that cannot be acquired otherwise.
