About Alex Gordon

Simply put, I enjoy building engineering teams that drive the most successful products and brands. My work involves a mix of talent strategy, headhunting, branding, process optimization, interview design, storytelling, and org design - all in deep partnership with executive leadership and key architects across an organization. _____ My tech journey began managing operations and resource allocation for an engineering team at a famous ad agency, looking to expand their in-house capabilities. It wasn't long before I was also sourcing and hiring the engineers. The team grew to 70+ - across five, global offices - and we built web, mobile, social, experiential/ooh campaigns, and software for clients including Burger King, Microsoft, Old Navy, Volkswagen, Amex, Best Buy, Kraft and Domino's. We were named Digital Agency of the Year three times at Cannes and were one of a handful of agencies that defined the future of brands in an increasingly mobile-, social-, and digital-first world. I've since worked with teams and products on the forefront of innovation - from wearables and IoT hubs, to music streaming and SaaS platforms. Along the way I've been fortunate to learn from some of the brightest technology, design, and brand minds, furthering my understanding of how great teams and products take shape.
