About Yutian Lin
Starting from my entrepreneurship journey in Ottawa, I learned about how to approach problems and solve them through technology. This taught me how to communicate with diverse people from different industries and also taught me that I was lacking in technical skills to make a splash in the industry. While studying business & computer science in Vancouver, I had to opportunity to meet even more people from around the world and was honoured to not only take part in the awesome program at UBC, but intern in a diverse range of companies. From TA @ UBC (Education), Full-Stack Software @ Orbis Investments (Financial), Full-Stack Software @ Galvanize (Audit), Infrastructure @ LinkedIn (Social Platform + HR), to Front-End Software @ Splunk (Data Analytics), I have opened my eyes to the greater opportunities in this world. Graduated in 2022, I am on my new journey, moving back to the East coast and starting off as an Infrastructure focused Software Engineer @ Datadog (Data Analytics) in their NYC headquarter.
