Desmond Chua has been with Datasite since 2018, currently holding the position of Head of Sales for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing sales operations and ensuring that clients receive continuous project management support for their transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&As), initial public offerings (IPOs), and fundraising efforts. His leadership has contributed to the successful management of over 40,000 projects globally, demonstrating his capability in handling complex transactions within the SaaS solutions space.

Before joining Datasite, Desmond Chua held several key positions in the finance and sales sectors. He served as the Head of Sales Trading and Institution at CMC Markets for four months in 2014. Prior to that, he worked as a Relationship Manager at ANZ for seven months in 2012. His earlier roles include serving as a Director of Sales for South East Asia and Australia at Merrill DataSite from 2014 to 2018, and as a Personal Banker at Citi from 2010 to 2012. He also worked as a Market Analyst at CMC Markets from 2012 to 2014.
