I am an experienced Engineering leader with over three decades in the IT industry, where I have driven strategy, direction, and delivery for my organization. My focus is on people, and I have a talent for building a highly motivated team, enabling technology to meet business needs, and delivering large-scale projects with process and practice excellence. My career began before the current role demarcation of PO, Dev, Test, Deploy, and Customer support. I have performed all of these functions during the lifecycle of many projects, contributing to the successful delivery of great products. I am still passionate about learning and staying relevant in the industry and am comfortable deep diving into SQL and understanding code in various languages. I believe that building a great product requires more than just technology. It is a process that involves getting into the business's skin, understanding the objectives, adopting the right processes, choosing the appropriate technology, building a fearless, motivated team, and supporting them through the journey. I am committed to maintaining focus during failures and success. My career has taken me to companies in different countries and domains, including eCommerce, Hospitality, ERP, Entertainment, and Retail, where I have worked with Microsoft technologies. I thrive in the fast-paced, action-oriented startup culture, making data-driven decisions, and embracing a fail-fast-succeed-faster approach. I believe in teamwork and have received recognition as a rock star leader for seven consecutive years based on feedback from my team members. I empathize with stakeholders' requirements, build strongly motivated teams that challenge the status quo, and mentor and motivate individuals to deliver with passion. I enjoy getting involved in CSR activities and mentoring students and aspiring managers to help them achieve their career goals. In my personal time, I prioritize fitness and indulge in food over the weekends.
