An exceptional researcher and writer, Kathy has litigated, handled appeals, researched, and written about a wide variety of substantive law, including financial services, troubled credits, corporate and professional fiduciary duty law, real property taxation, administrative mandamus, the federal Administrative Procedures Act, environmental laws (CEQA, Safe Drinking Water Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act), arbitration, antitrust, RICO, employment/wrongful termination law, insurance and bad faith, constitutional law (including commerce clause, supremacy clause, fourth amendment search and seizure, due process clause, Act of State doctrine, first amendment freedom of speech and religion, and second amendment), and general tort and contract principles.
