He is also Co-Founder & GP of West Quad Ventures: a Seed -> Series B evergreen fund in Technology, Media, F&B and Health and Wellness. No outside, LP capital. Combined Portfolio: Anthropic, SpaceX, HyperScience, Lime, 99 (UBER of LATAM & first unicorn exit in Brazil), Simulate (Nuggs), Dott, Rain, Dandy, MarketerHire, Bonsai, Beam, Dosist, Public.com, FitOn, Lemon Perfect, etc... ~10 investments/year. Andreas is Chairman & Founder of Penna & Company. The practice has a global footprint and specializes in M&A and Venture Capital advisory, international corporate expansion and high-value business development. He is formerly a high-tech executive with vast international mobile experience across the value chain: US and European expertise in software/services, mobile operator and OEM. Andreas has broad functional experience in business development and strategic partnerships, product management & planning and corporate strategy/M&A. Previously, Andreas was at Samsung Mobile as Director of Business Development and New Venture in Silicon Valley, USA. His past experiences include (most recent first): Tele2 Group - Global Head for Partnerships at Tele2 Group based out of Stockholm; Vodafone Group - Strategy and M&A for Vodafone Group HQ in London; Microsoft Mobile - Product Management and Planning for Windows Phone and online properties such as MSN Mobile based in Seattle and London.
