Lubomir Hainov began his career at the Chelopech mine as a mechanical fitter in the process plant. Two years later, he advanced to the position of shift boss, marking the first significant step in his career progression. Over time, Hainov took on broader responsibilities, including mechanical maintenance and the oversight of maintenance operations within the process plant. In 2011, he was appointed as the Chelopech Process Plant Director, showcasing his growing expertise and leadership in the field.
Leadership Roles at Ada Tepe
Lubomir Hainov's effectiveness in handling significant projects led to his appointment as the Operations Director of the Ada Tepe mine in 2016. His role was crucial in the operational readiness phase as the mine began production in 2019. His involvement underlines his capability in managing new mining operations and ensuring their smooth commencement. Hainov's significant contribution also includes the development of the Integrated Mine Waste Facility at Ada Tepe, the first of its kind in Europe.
