Paul Ivascanu General Manager Exploration
Paul Ivascanu currently serves as the General Manager, Exploration at DPM, a position he has held since April 2023. He initially joined the company in September 2019 as a Director, Exploration. In his current role, Paul is responsible for overseeing exploration activities, including targeting, drill testing, and resource modelling. His work is crucial in evaluating various ore deposits within brownfield and greenfield environments.

Paul Ivascanu has accumulated over 15 years of experience in exploration management. His career has included effective targeting and drill testing on both brownfield and greenfield sites, as well as resource modelling and evaluation of a broad range of ore deposits. Before joining DPM, Paul was engaged with Barrick Gold Corporation and Eldorado Gold Corporation, where he contributed significantly to exploration initiatives. His most recent role prior to DPM was as Regional Chief Geologist for Southeast Europe and Turkey.
