Current Position at EcoVadis
Christopher Economides is currently serving as a Senior Sustainability Analyst at EcoVadis. In this role, he works between Paris and New York. His responsibilities include independently chairing over 20 direct customer scorecard debriefs, assisting organizations by elaborating the EcoVadis methodology, and dissecting scorecard performance. Economides also represents the New York office as a 360 News watch agent, filtering relevant CSR and sustainability news and stakeholder reports to include in the EcoVadis methodology.

Christopher Economides has an extensive background in sustainability and business development. He worked as a Sustainability Solutions Consulting & Business Development Fellow at The Triana Group, Inc. in Greater New York City Area for two months in 2014. Prior to that, he was a Process Management Graduate Intern at Per Scholas for three months between 2013 and 2014, and an Aquanaut Intern at Columbia Water Center for nine months during the same period. Additionally, he interned at Grameen America, Inc. for three months from 2012 to 2013.
Education and Academic Background
Christopher Economides holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from Columbia University in the City of New York, which he completed from 2012 to 2014. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management from the University of San Francisco, graduating in 2010 after studying there from 2007.
Role at EcoVadis
At EcoVadis, Christopher Economides has achieved several milestones. He was promoted to Sustainability Scoring Analyst within his first full year of employment and to Senior CSR Analyst after two years. His contributions include composing over 50 customized supplier scorecard inquiry responses, performing dozens of gap analyses between external sustainability assessments and EcoVadis methodology, and contributing to the closure of multiple pilot projects.
Project Management and Mentorship
Christopher Economides has managed multiple cross-departmental projects at EcoVadis, including orchestrating a partnership with The Sustainability Consortium to promote sustainable supply chains. He has also played a significant role in training over 10 incoming analysts, providing in-person performance debriefs, and enhancing the training cycle and process. His efforts have been central to fostering customer and client engagement in sustainability.
