About Jesse Rodgers
I create programs and communities for founders of technology-driven businesses. So far, my efforts have helped thousands of founders raise billions in equity investments. For the past 20 years, I have worked in or around technology. I became involved in the second wave of startup culture in Waterloo, starting around 2005, by leading community events that eventually grew into a movement. This led to me founding my own company and developing support organizations for founders just starting out. My experience includes leading ambitious projects in large educational institutions and developing the first product in a small startup. In my previous role, I led the development of a large innovation hub and created an investment fund for very early founders. This fund invested just over $1 million in 50 companies, and those companies have so far raised over $55 million from investors in just a few years. Prior to that, I contributed to the development of the Creative Destruction Lab, which now has a massive global community supporting the success of founders.
